Ms. Lima was born in Havana, Cuba. She arrived to Miami at the age of 3 and has lived here since.

She received her Juris Doctor in 2022 from Florida International University College of Law where she graduated cum laude, a Dean’s List scholar, and was awarded the Outstanding Contribution and Work in the Community Lawyering Clinic award and the CALI Excellence for the Future book award for legal writing. Ms. Lima received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree in 2018 from Florida International University, where she graduated magna cum laude.

While in law school, Ms. Lima was active in many school organizations, which included being a Student Ambassador, LexisNexis Head Student Representative, Student Government Association American Bar Association Representative, and Treasurer of the Disability Rights Law Association. Ms. Lima also served as Editor of the World Arbitration and Mediation Review and as Legal Intern at the FIU College of Law Community Lawyering Clinic. Prior to joining Alex Hanna Law, Ms. Lima worked for a prominent workers’ compensation defense firm.

Ms. Lima is devoted to providing clients not only with the utmost legal guidance and support to navigate difficult moments, but, more importantly, the comfort in knowing that they are in the right hands through it all.

Ms. Lima is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and is fluent in Spanish.
